Highly retrograde fireballs are always meteoritic. Right?

I recently had the pleasure of solving a 35 year old fireball mystery for the Edmonton Centre of the RASC (Royal
Astronomical Society of Canada). I was pleased to accept an invitation to write an article updating the case, for the
Centre's Stardust newsletter, which is now available at the URL below. Solving the case required me to put aside the
common assumption that highly retrograde fireballs are meteoritic.
