I saw a very similar object from my area of Morgan Hill, on what I presume was the next orbit.. Passed near Deneb headed to the
South / Southeast.. 

I had no timing device, and wasn't even going to mention it.. until I saw this post..

PS.. I am awaiting delivery (from an EBAY purchase) of a Meade DS series refractor that *supposedly* can track satellites.. We shall
see if I can actually make it useful.. If anyone is using such a scope, please drop me a line and let me know of anything (tips..
tricks.. Work arounds.. etc) that will help me get a head start with making use of the new scope..

And if you live on the US West Coast and start having a few days of bad weather, you'll know the scope arrived.. :-))

elevation  in the SW.It had a flash period of about every 4 seconds _at_ about
