Dear John and friends from the SeeSat community. Speaking of Barium clouds, let me tell you the story about an alleged UFO case, which was triggered by a Barium cloud. It dates way back to 1972. We published the resolution of it on our 2018 Annual Report (page 43): https://www.argentina.gob.ar/sites/default/files/informe_cefae_2018.pdf Fortunately I could resolve it because I could count on a recent Barium cloud release video from Jason Ahrns (Alaska) and a neat mosaic of drawings made by a witness at the time of the sighting. Below I am pasting the link to a key mosaic (thanks Ted). Note the resemblance of the barium cloud development on the video screen capture (top) as compared to the middle drawing from the mosaic (bottom) of drawings painted by a witness at the time. http://www.satobs.org/seesat_ref/misc/barium_cloud_dwg_via_RLianza.png There are some interesting things to be learned from this. If you follow the barium release sequence (from left to right), at least by the method our Air Force used to do it in the 70´s (through an upwards detonation of a hollow charge at 170 km. altitude) the cloud deployment starts with a red/orange *partially ionized *area, with a purple girdle. At the end of this cycle it gets totally orange. Some minutes later, the ionized barium cloud reverses completely back to cobalt blue. In this case, the witness did not draw the subsequent phase which shows the cloud turning back to bluish (as you will see on Jason Ahrns´ video below). Please keep in mind that this is a time-lapse video. The whole process took more than 15 minutes. You can stop the video in the intermediate orange cloud phase for comparison. Hope it would be of help to clarify a little more about these wonderful clouds of metallic gases. I wish you all the best, good skies and a HAPPY 2021 ! https://www.flickr.com/photos/musubk/15149440631/ >> >> _______________________________________________ >> Seesat-l mailing list >> http://mailman.satobs.org/mailman/listinfo/seesat-l >> > _______________________________________________ Seesat-l mailing list http://mailman.satobs.org/mailman/listinfo/seesat-lReceived on Sat Dec 26 2020 - 18:55:03 UTC
