Actually, the grapefruit was Vanguard 1, so called by Nikita Khruschev
I believe. It's the only one of the 5 Vanguard payloads and rockets that
I haven't seen yet.  I think it broadcast at a much higher frequency.
The Sputniks used 20 and 40 MHz. Sputnik was much larger than Vanguard.
