We've had at least a handful of evening passovers. I don't recall which mission, but we had one late night (after 1am local) buzzing within the past couple years. The booms carried very nicely :) Had the shuttle attempted landing at night the last couple evenings, the crosswind requirements would have been even more restrictive (like 12 kts instead of 15). Don't know what other factors ruled out these opportunities though... sleep schedule sounds like a good reason. -Mike North Florida ************************************* Ersatz Stars http://home.att.net/~asterism/ ************************************* ----------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe from SeeSat-L by sending a message with 'unsubscribe' in the SUBJECT to SeeSat-L-request@lists.satellite.eu.org http://www2.satellite.eu.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
