I know this type of observation has been dismissed before as planes, but I again saw a pair of dim objects (separated by about 0.5-1 degree and perfectly in line) last night with 12x60 binoculars while waiting for NOSS 2-2 E (21908). I first saw it very near the expected position for 21908, then got my wits and got a good point in Auriga, so say: 3h25m +20 at 1:17:08.19 UT 5h56m +54.5 at 1:17:28.71 UT The objects were oriented 45 deg and traveled in (my guess) about a 65 degree orbital inclination. Dim, about +6.5 or +7, and obviously quite fast. Any ideas? If it was planes again, what list do I need to be on for predictions - this was COOL :O) Other reports (of normal objects) later after reduction.
