    Hi Ted,

Associated Press reported the missile was shot at 10:26 PM on Feb. 20. Very
close to the estimate given by your analysis of the satellite trajectory and
the NOTAM exclusion zone. On behalf of everybody on this list, I'm sure, I
want to thank you for keeping us informed in a timely manner. You had a
great idea in asking everyone to report observations even if they were not
positional observers and by explaining them how to do. Thank you for your
time taken in analysing all the data and publishing the TLEs. Thanks also to
Mike McCants and Chris Peat with his Heavens-Above site.

The US demonstrated their capabilities by killing this satellite but our
group of amateurs showed its capabilities too by accurately tracking this
object and keeping the public informed by the interviews some of us gave to
the media in the last few weeks. I myself gave a radio interview that was
aired int the French science radio show Les Annees-lumieres at Radio-Canada
    on February 10.
