On 7 February 2015 in the twilight from 17h56.0 to 17h56.4TU I observed photographically the SMAP satellite (2015-003A) taking 31 successive pics of it ; 0.5 sec duration ; ISO 10000 ; using a Canon EOS 6D + 200 mmm teleobjective on a tripod. It was then passing just after culmination predicted at altitude 38°6 (West) according to Calsky . The satellite was rather faint (mag 7 - 8) and slightly variable in brightness.

SMAP was also observed 80 seconds later by a friend at Meudon Observatory, and he derived the following O-C according to the Calsky ephemeris :

O-C = +0.06 s + /- 0.10 s. (hence, in due time )

From both light curves, a tentative photometric period of 40 or 65 seconds cannot be excluded, but it is rather speculative.
