Hi Marco,  all,

    Thank you.  Good to have something publicly released...

    I've posted a pseudo-MPEC at

    Basically,  I took the SpaceX state vector and created
synthetic astrometry from it.  You can take that astrometry
and run it through Find_Orb to generate customized ephems.
And,  presumably,  should be able to get ephems via Horizons
soonish.

    The C3=12 km^2/s^2 part was right,  though not in quite
the direction I'd expected.  As a result,  the previous ephems
and elements I posted are,  ah,  "inoperative";  disregard them
completely and pretend I never said that.

    It's still unclear to me if we have one object here or two.
Observers in Europe should be able to check it out soon,
though there's a good bit of moonlight twenty degrees away.
(Which is why the ephemerides at the above page show a light
blue patch for each ephemeris entry,  brightening toward
morning.)

    Southern observers seem to have an advantage here.
