The Iridium 30 flare was right on schedule this evening. The magnitude was
extremely difficult to judge. The light reflected was much more brilliant
than the nearly full moon. The prediction from Iridflar:

                   Iridium Coordinates Range Sat Solar

Iridium 27 passed over Delphinus at 18:16 EST (23:16 UT). Tha flashing
pattern was difficult to judge. It seemed to be a bright flash followed
by a short series of dimmer flashes lasting about a second followed by a
2 sec dark period.

Cheers.
