I saw Lacrosse 2 sail over El Paso again this evening (1999-01-26T02:30Z he
said, attempting ISO 8601 time format), crossing above Jupiter in the west,
back-lit and in light-polluted skies.  It would have been totally impossible
to see with the unaided eye or without previous knowledge of the path, but
with binoculars, watching the anticipated trajectory, it was seen and
followed as a barely perceptible red-orange fuzzball.
