    I live in new York City, and a few years ago--1997 I believe-- a large, 
    approx. 18 inch metal sphere came out of the sky and landed on someones lawn. 
    The news reported it as probably being satellite debris, and said that NASA 
    would take it and analyze it. But I never heard about it again. 
    Does anyone remember this, or know what it was or may be?
