I have found that this one when compared to the WWV time signal from Fort Collins Co. is as advertised. It is definitely less that 1/2 second and probably much closer. Hard to tell by ear. But probably within 0.1 second http://www.time.gov/timezone.cgi?Eastern/d/-5/java Like you noted, it ticks off the seconds on the screen so the PC clock can be set very accurately.
