In IOD format 24680 96 072A 8597 F 20030105131024200 27 25 0309000-413900 19 S+025 05 This observation is on time with the last elset Ted and Mike produced from my observations on Jan 3. So it looks like last night's observation was a misidentification. The identification is definite, as I followed into shadow at the expected position. It brought itself to my attention before passing thru my target area by a slow flare up to mag -1 while passing some degrees from Archenar, which was at least 40 seconds before the above fix. It stayed brighter than mag 3.5 for most of the pass.
