This observation is on time with the last elset Ted and Mike produced
from my observations on Jan 3. So it looks like last night's observation was
a misidentification. The identification is definite, as I followed into
shadow at the expected position. It brought itself to my attention before
passing thru my target area by a slow flare up to mag -1 while passing
some degrees from Archenar, which was at least 40 seconds before the above fix.
It stayed brighter than mag 3.5 for most of the pass.
