    For anything in orbit more than a week, I have always found
    a text search for the catalog number in Mike McCant's
    alldat.tle or Alan Pickup's satbase to be effective
    for recent launches apart from the messages on this list,
    the select a satellite facility on Heavens-above.com
    is a quick solution.
