A meteorite has hit the ground in Menominee county, sometime around
6pm this evening. No reports yet about injury or damage. Individuals
in Shawano, miles from the site, report feeling their houses shake.
    Menominee county sheriff's channels buzzing.

    Hello All,

Rhinelander TV 12 reports at 10 PM that the meteor was spotted and
possibly landed in Lincoln County. Supposedly seen by several
loggers. This is a long way from Shawano. Wonder what's up?

Rhinelander is in far northern Wisconsin, N45:36; W89:11
    Shawano is at N44:47, W88:36

Predicting the landing spot for fireballs is notoriously difficult and it may well have landed in a different state or country.
