    Hi all,

To get more details on the mission and actual rocket version :
    http://www.ilslaunch.com/launches/cbin/Mission_Overview/atlas/PLUTO_MO_5.pdf

    Taken from this document :
Fairing is 17.7 ft in diameter and 68 ft in length.
It contains a single-engine 41.6 ft length Centaur stage, the adapter for
the upper stage, the Star 48B upper stage, the spin mechanism and the New
Horizons probe. No secondary payload is on board (as also seen on the
    payload encapsulation video and photos).

The fairing needs to be wide because of the protruding RTG on the
    spacecraft.
