I caught 2 bright flashes from Hispasat 1A ( 22116 ) last night, before I decided to be safe and bring my stuff in, for the night. A short time later the sky got cloudy, and the snow started to come down.

Observed 2 bright flashes, seperated by 326 seconds, and the other flashes were much fainter. Will have to observe it again, but looks like it takes less time then for my last ppas report for it, which is nice.

    The bright flashes occured at

    2:56:59 and 3:02:25 utc ( Jan 4 )

Will have to observe it again, well when the weather cooperates.

    Kevin
