Last night, I aimed at a random area of sky. It started off somewhat clear, then got very cloudy during the night, as I played back the recorded video.

As I was playing back the video, I noticed a slow moving bright flashing sat.

Checking to see, what the cause was, a gps satellite was the cause of the nice light show.

It was Navstar 37, catalog number 23833. So a 2A type of gps satellite.

The flashes were mag 5 are brighter, and took under 1 minute between flashes.

Was flashing around 8:39 utc ( Jan 27 )
