awww... i was hoping it was a video because i've been seeing something that 
sounds like this... all of the ones i've seen are N->S (roughly)... i catch them 
because there's really bright flash but no bird is seen... shortly (maybe 10 to 
15 seconds) there's another really bright flash... as the track progresses, the 
flash brightness drops a little bit and the actual craft reflected light is 
never seen like when we normally see a satellite flying over...

in what i've seen, rough Mark I eyeball measuring puts the flashes at maybe .25 
sec or faster... they're quick and almost like a flash on a camera going off... 
in fact, the first time i saw this, my thought was "who is taking our picture 
with a flash from way up there?" :lol:
