For those wanting to listen to Shuttle missions having the
Sarex payload, be advised that wa3nan (Goddard Amateur Radio
Club, Greenbelt, Md., USA) rebroadcasts shuttle
communications ONLY on Single Side Band (SSB) for the Short
Wave frequencies.

I recently purchased a short wave receiver for the primary
purpose of having access to an accurate time standard for
satellite tracking and to receive Shuttle/MCC transmissions
since I don't have access to NASA TV. Several NASA Internet
sources list the wa3nan frequencies *but fail to mention*
that it is transmitted on SSB. Needless to say I didn't get
the SSB/Beat Frequency Oscillation feature needed to receive
SSB :-(
