I observed amongst clouds TiPS twice yesterday.: at 21:14 UT and 23:04 UT.
from latitude 51d 15' 49" north longitude 5d 28' 38" east.
We ( my son Chris and I) picked up this needle like object near Alioth.
We lost it by its disappearance behind clouds but were lucky to see it
again near our zenit. Then is was really like one "normal" one-dimensional
artificial satellite. So its tether is vertical. Fascinating.
Both ends flashed with different flash times. Clouds made it impossible
to me to find a flashing period or pattern.
