Here is an observation report from Igor Lissov,
for 8 July 1996:
On 08 Jul 1996 I've seen again both 1996 038B and 038A (search with
a 8x30 binocular, then visible).
Begin report
038B was flashing with approx. 1 second period now and have +2 mag.
It passed:
Slightly N of Epsilon Ser (15 h 50.8 m +04 deg 28 min 2000.0) at 20:55:43 UTC;
2 deg N of Zeta Ser (18 h 00.5 m -03 deg 41 min) at 20:56:28 UTC;
Near Lambda Aql (19 h 06.2 m -4 deg 53 min) at 20:56:49 UTC.
038A was oscillating with approx. 0.8 second period. The object was fainter
and seemed to have orange colour (but there was much water in the air).
It passed:
1.5-2.5 N of Delta Oph (16 h 14.3 m - 3 deg 42 min 2000.0) at 21:13:24 UTC;
Almost eclipsed a star at Oph (17 h 26.6 m - 5 deg 05 min) at 21:13:48 UTC;
Almost eclipsed Zeta Sct (18 h 23.7 m - 8 deg 56 min) at 21:14:12 UTC.
