Mir was in good viewing this morning, July 11 08:25-08:35 @maximum elevation of about 45 degrees to the northwest despite the 96% phase of the moon to the south-southwest. Estimate magnitude with the moonlit sky at 0.5. Nice to have an "old faithfull" to look at during less than ideal conditions. Jack
