My name is John Gardner,Jr

As a new subscriber to this service, greetings to all and a special
greeting to participants of Kelso's, old CELESTIAL BBS site. It was
a comforting feeling to again see names of individuals I enjoyed
comments with in the past. Finally getting on the Internet I see
first hand what, Walter Nissen, had been saying about SeeSat.

Though I do observe sats, my principle interest is the management
of TLE and Reference (similar to SSR format) files. Thus "catching"
new TLEs; flagging those who's NORAD number and COSPAR don't agree,
and seeing which objects have changed their orbits. Also update/use
specialized TLE files using a master TLE file of 11645 objects. I
live (and sometimes die) by GSFC's daily/monthly catalog reports with
reliance also on TLE files from contributors found here.

P.S. To date, records show updates for 8189 objects have been released
in 1998. Using decay data, there are an additional +561 objects
in either non Earth orbiting status, not reported/released, lost
      or miscataloged.
