Hello. I was observing celestial objects through my 8 inch telescope in
Sagittarius this evening (7/26) and noticed a satellite moving by NGC 6712
(a globular cluster) whose RA is 18 hr 53 min and dec is -8.7 at around
11:29. Any idea what this was? It was too faint for binoculars. I also
observed IR 71 tum. Was it flashing? I saw it around 10:32. I believe it
falshed at least twice.
