Last Thursday (23 Jul 98), I finally had a nice observation session.

Gorizont 23 = 21533 = 91- 46 A was indeed rather faint, around magnitude
+9, so mucht fainter than the +5.5 of some months ago. (21h10m UT)
Period was 50.575 seconds, so it is definitely going up again.

I saw this object on 23 July with a period of about 7.8 s (21h23m UT)

I remember clearly that other Zenits were also "flashing in some part of
the sky" and "steady in another part of the sky".
E.g. see the PPAS for 94- 23 B, on 94-06-23 Tristan Cools remarked :
"only var(FF) low in NE" and other ppas entries.

I also observed some Centaurs :
85- 55 B = 15874 = Intelsat 5F11 rocket between mag +9 and +13 with
a period of 9.05 seconds
77- 41 B = 10025 = Intelsat 4-4 rocket, FF, mag +9-> invisible,
period 5.35 seconds. Last observation of this one was by Ron Welch
in 1983 with a period of 4.5 seconds.

86- 3 B = 16482 = Satcom K1 was rather faint, magnitude +12 at maximum,
flashing with a period of about 28.7 seconds.
Last (and only) observation recorded in our archive PPAS shows it with
80 seconds as seen by Pierre Neirinck in '93.
