Hi All,

Time for a Superbird A update. Flashes are now occurring in eastern
Brazil,
western and southern Africa, and western/southern Europe. Here are my
predicted peak flash times (UT on July 30):

Portugal: 2:54
Spain: 2:57
France: 3:01
Switzerland: 3:03
Northern Italy: 3:04
South Africa: 3:08

With the exception of South Africa, flashes will appear near eta-Ceti.
Specific RA's and Dec's for selected cities at the expected flash
peak times are:

Lisbon: RA 1h 8.7m, Dec -10.4 deg (very near eta-Ceti)
Madrid: 1h 8.9m, Dec -10.7
Paris: 1h 8.7m, Dec -11.4
Geneva: 1h 9.5m, Dec -11.2
Milan: 1h 9.2m, Dec -11.1

Those in Belgium may also see it, but you're flirting with predawn
twilight. Again, these times are approximate, so start looking early.
If you don't get this message in time, try a couple minutes later
for each subsequent morning. Once someone has picked it up,
I'll be able to provide far more accurate predictions. --Rob
