I couldn't agree more, but unfortunately the reference message falls
just into that category. And so do the all-too numerous reports
about trivial satellite observations (i.e. those from which no new
insights or knowledge can be gained), no matter how excited the
observer got about it, especially if he/she is new to satellite
observing.

This is my personal opinion, and I do no expect it to be shared by
everybody.
