Hello !
On July 2nd, while I was wating for some tumbling or flasing
satellite with 7x50 binocs, I found an unexpected satellite in the
field (this happens rather often!) but as I had to wait three or four
minutes to catch the expected sat, I follewed this unknown object and it
was tumbling! I could record 2 flares at 22:08:53 and 22:09:18. Its
position and movement at culmination were :
el = 40 deg
az = 300 deg
dir = 90 deg
mag = 5-6 flares = about 3
I tried to know wich one it was with QuickSat and I found 2 candidates
: Cosmos 1295 Rk (12682U 81-77B) and Iridium 77 (25471U 98-51E) but
they are not on my list of tumbling and flashing satellites. Who could
help me to find the name of this unknown satellite?
