Despite a high thin haze, Iridium 14a r #25779 99032C made a bright mag -1
pass about 5 deg below (East) Vega at 05:06:27 9 Jul UTC +/- 2 sec. A few
seconds later as i was watching Ir 14A r continue it's flight, i saw a
flash, mag 1 est, at Az 180 deg El 40-45 deg. No other visible clues as to
the source or it's track of this object.
At 05:22:02 UTC Iridium 14A SD #25780 99032D was to pass by at a predicted
mag 2.5 but due to the limited visiblity with the haze and twilight, it was
not seen. I could barely make out the brighter stars in Ursa Major and
almost missed Lacrosse 3 r #25018 97064B which was a predicted mag 2.
This elset gave a predicted peak for Ir 14A r at 05:06:21 UTC Az 83 deg El
