Hi!
The flash behaviour of Raduga 27 until late june suggests
that the spin axis is more or less aligned with earth's
rotation axis (doesn't it?).
That would mean that the sun's declination in the satellite
spin coordinate frame was increasing during that spell.
If the accelerating torque was indeed caused by solar
radiation, this would be an explanation for the observed
decrease in the acceleration rate and it would mean that
it will accelerate again in the next months!
I am really excited to learn more about this satellite's  flash
behaviour!  Jason was right:
