Report time 06:45 UTC
1999-015C (#25685) SPUTNIK JR. 3
In its final report - prepared July 29, 22:11 UTC - SpaceCom shows the decay at
July 29, 18:06 UTC +/- 04 hours (!) (47.5°S 195.0°E)
Their earlier decay window was only +/- 01 hours.
MPM shows with last released ELSET - 99210.46041680 - only a minor change
against my preceding prediction:
July 29, 17:40 UTC +/- 44 minutes (03.2°S. 83.1°)
on a southbound pass over the Indian Ocean. This result is in very good agreement
with Alans last forecast.
1989-096A (#20352) GRANAT and 1989-096C (#20354) GRANAT RB:
SpaceCom closed now the books and issued these decay dates:
GRANAT : May 25, 1999
GRANAT RB : July 25, 1999
This is a confirmation of our earlier predictions with the decays around the
"final" perigee of the 4 days orbits.
