After weeks of cloudy skies Friday finally saw perfectly clear skies here and I started off with Sar-Lupe 2 (2007-030A) passing Beta Peg at 21:15:22 UTC, 6-JUL-07 low in the East at about mag 6. I had planned to photograph the next pass and also to observe other sats but when you hear a double bang in your neighbor's apartment, see smoke filling the house and a friendly fireman knocks on your door, puts a gas mask over your head to lead you outside there is little point in arguing that you rather stay put to continue sat obs! But I guess that's off-topic. (I'm back home again, spent most of the remaining weekend cleaning - with partial success - and I'm ready again for sat obs. But guess what - it just started to rain...)
