I observed 06057A in twilight, through thin cloud. It would have been a reasonably good observation, had I not bumped the stop button of the stopwatch against the door-frame while motioning one of my cats away from the door as I re-entered. I had not pre-calibrated the stopwatch (as I usually do), so stopping it rendered the timing useless. Therefore, the following position is accurate, but the time is the predicted time, which could be off by tens of seconds: 29651 06 057A 2701 P 20070711084652000 39 25 1755614+290963 18 S The object appeared to be about on time, but was about 0.2 deg lower than predicted by the following approximate elements, derived from my observation of Jun 13 and Alberto Rango's of July 10 UTC: 1 29651U 06057A 07191.09015732 .00024397 00000-0 13364-3 0 04 2 29651 58.4951 304.2979 0008000 90.0000 270.2005 15.79221575 08 IOD format: http://www.satobs.org/position/IODformat.html Site 2701: 43.68764 N, 79.39243 W, 230 m Ted Molczan ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subscribe/Unsubscribe info, Frequently Asked Questions, SeeSat-L archive: http://www.satobs.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
