During a trip to Calgary I tried to view a few sats and do some star gazing, problem being, I forgot my binocs, and that it gets dark aboot 11:30 p.m. Two other nights I saw a few sats but nothing worth mentioning - and, these are probably useless for positions but it was nice to see the far northern skies again. Now I remember what Ted, Kevin, and the Northern Europeans put up with in summer. I noticed the effect before in Europe, but wasn't in a position to observe much then, anyway. But I've covered 90 degrees in latitude and it is amazing the effect on your view of the sky. Off to 24N latitude next week, should be quite different! 27698 03 009A 9999 G 20100724045338590 17 25 0027727+533011 19 S 23851 96 024A 9999 G 20100724050138090 17 25 1939323+451324 98 S 28646 05 016A 9999 G 20100724050536130 17 25 1118147+554347 29 S 28646 05 016A 9999 G 20100724050553980 17 25 1107846+615187 58 S Brad Young 9999 51.0830 114.0830 2000. calgary _______________________________________________ Seesat-l mailing list http://mailman.satobs.org/mailman/listinfo/seesat-l
