During a trip to Calgary I tried to view a few sats and do some star gazing,
problem being, I forgot my binocs, and that it gets dark aboot 11:30 p.m. Two
other nights I saw a few sats but nothing worth mentioning - and, these are
probably useless for positions but it was nice to see the far northern skies
    again.

Now I remember what Ted, Kevin, and the Northern Europeans put up with in
summer. I noticed the effect before in Europe, but wasn't in a position to
observe much then, anyway. But I've covered 90 degrees in latitude and it is
amazing the effect on your view of the sky.

Off to 24N latitude next week, should be quite different!
