    Kevin,

    On 5 July 2013, I had a photographic no-show of USA 186.

It was predicted (by Calsky) to pass 1° right of Alfa Her at 20h54m18s UTC, but my series of photos showed nothing in the 6° x 4°field (200mm teleobjective at f/2.8).

It happened in a bright twilight (height of Sun : -7°9) so that I didn't spot USA 186 visually either. Note that, 25 minutes before I had photographed 2011-05 A (#37362, GEO IK 2) as expected in a still brighter twilight (Sun at only -4°9).

    Best wishes

    Alain

I had a pass of usa 186, with it predicted to pass above Altair. At the time it passed, it passed below Altair, wrecking my view.

    Obs later

    Kevin
