Space junk found in Australia

Hi all,

Newspaper report with photo of what looks like a spherical pressure tank found
in Walgett, New South Wales, Australia, last Sunday:

Although the finder links it to the July 10 decay (#40077/2014-037J), it was
found too far from the reentry track to likely be the case (320 km lateral
distance to the track).

Unless of course it floated to the find location through the river that runs
between the reentry track and the findspot (object was found under a bridge).
That seems somewhat unlikely however (also since the find location appears to be
upstream rather than downstream).
