Greg,

You saw the NOSS-6 pair, A and P.
38758 2012 48 A and 38773 2012 48 P
I used Heavensat and the classified sat file.

Regards
Leo

Subject: Two SATs traveling together

Sorry to bother the list (again) but I just saw two birds traveling in
Tandem passing star Deneb traveling to the Southeast.

One was about 7 seconds behind and slightly to the east of the one in the
lead. They were traveling together similar to the NOSS satellites. I just
checked H-A and none of the NOSS birds look to be in the area.

I'm in the city so light pollution is a factor as I couldn't see them
without binoculars. In fact I was tracking a much dimmer object that was
traveling ENE when these 2 crossed in the field of view.

They went into shadow just before 0252z Due east

I'm in Knoxville, TN.
0250z was time of encounter.
To my NNE traveling SE at about 45 degrees altitude.

Thanks and I'll keep quiet.
