XEphem is listed on CelesTrak under Unix/Linux at It shows a Mac screenshot, but does not provide a link to a Mac package that most macOS users would be looking for. - TS

You might want to add xephem to the list. it’s been awhile since i’ve played with it, but it accepts TLE and has very nice visualization options. I believe it’s still available from MacPorts...

Fellow Enthusiasts -

As a long time Mac user I was disappointed by the information available about software for the Mac. There are plenty of Mac people out there, they should be able to use their chosen platform.

So I created a site that (so far) tells people how to run Gpredict and a bit about JSatTrak. As I have time I will add to the site. It is linked from SeeSat, the Members page.

With the assistance of some people who are far better at coding than I am, I have gotten some of Dave Vallado's code to run on my Macs and I will try to add that over time. I also run some C++ written by a guy named Tim DeBenedictus that propagates TLEs, again as a Unix application, and will try to share some of that.

Comments are always welcome.
