On July 21, Rocketlab will launch the classified NROL-199 misison for the NRO, on an Electron rocket from LC 1B in Mahia, New Zealand. The payload is RASR-4 (Rapid Acquisition of a Small Rocket 4). The window of the Navigational Warnings runs from 21:15 UT (Jul 21) to 01:45 UT (Jul 22). Backup dates run to August 4. Note that the first stage splash-down zone in the NavWarnings (HYDROPAC 1942/22 and HYDROPAC 1947/22) appears to have an error: the longitude of the second listed point should be W, not E. The location of the splashdown zones in the Navigational Warnings indicate that a ~70.5 degree inclined orbit is targetted. The following estimated elset assumes launch 15 minutes after opening of the launch window, to an assumed orbit at ~600 km altitude: NROL-199 for launch on 21 July 2022 21:30:00 UT 1 70001U 22999A 22202.89583333 .00000000 00000-0 00000-0 0 02 2 70001 070.5000 245.0415 0003584 234.3569 326.1614 14.90139861 00 Europe will have a visible pas 1 hour after the launch. Expect a few minutes leeway in pass- time and some degrees cross-track error at least. - Marco ----- Dr Marco Langbroek - SatTrackCam Leiden, the Netherlands. e-mail: sattrackcam_at_langbroek.org launchtower: http://launchtower.langbroek.org Station (b)log: http://sattrackcam.blogspot.com Twitter: _at_Marco_Langbroek ----- _______________________________________________ Seesat-l mailing list http://mailman.satobs.org/mailman/listinfo/seesat-lReceived on Tue Jul 19 2022 - 08:23:46 UTC
