In response to Rob Matson's inquiry regarding IR 46, I observed it recently
and videotaped what appeared to be irregular flashing. Since the geometry of
the pass was not optimum, I could not track it very long but there are other
opportunities in the near term. I can confirm that it is definitely
tumbling.
A table is reportedly in work by Motorola to identify which IR satellites
are mistagged. When this comes out, I hope to have it available for the net.
