Hi All,

The main "shred" of the Pageos balloon decayed in the Autumn 1996. It had
the H designation and I observed it on several passes over a period of
several years before its demise. It always required binoculars and moved
quite slowly against the background stars.

The last time I observed it was on September 7, 1996 at 10:45 UT. It was a
much brighter object (easily seen with no optical aid) and moved quite
rapidly due to the fact that it was very close to decay.

The following elements were obtained today from the OIG site. The A object
is listed in the Molczan file, but the other two are not. I assume that
they are relatively small pieces of the balloon.
