You might want to request the free CD-ROM rather than doing the lengthy
download.  As I recall, it took a lot of hard disk space to install,
leading me to believe there was a lot of data on the CD-ROM that I would
not have received in the download.

I installed STK from the CD-ROM and have played around with it.  I needed
to get a password by email before it would run, but that was quick and easy.

I was somewhat frustrated by STK because many of the features described in
the manual (which I printed out and studied) are available only in the
"advanced" modules for which you have to purchase a license.  For doing the
simpler things, I ended up falling back on the various tools I had
previously downloaded, such as Quicksat, IridFlar, SatSpy, etc.

I'll be interested in seeing what others have to say about STK.
