Hi List,

While looking for Gorizont 23 on Monday evening, June 7, I
caught a slow-moving flasher. Fortunately I had my stopwatch
handy and timed a sequence of 10 flashes (9 flash periods) in
81.7 seconds for a flash period of 9.08 +/- .017 seconds. Peak
flashes were about +6, and the unid dimmed to +8.5 between
flashes.

A SkyMap search today positively IDs the culprit as FltSatCom 4 R/B
(#12069, 80087B). Jason Hatton timed it on 98-05-23 at 8.626 sec,
and Mike McCants timed it at 8.6 seconds on both 98-05-02 and
98-05-01.
