Once again the weather forecast was wrong and clear skies allowed me to
observe Meteor 1-2 r for a second night.
With this elset:
Meteor 1-2 r 3.8 2.6 0.0 5.1 v 220 x 214 km
1 04120U 69084B 99162.00157699 .01547514 12507-2 76830-3 0 97772
2 04120 81.2016 96.8491 0004187 178.4650 181.5363 16.20903770625134
With my 10x50s i picked it up speeding along at an elevation of 6 degrees,
at an azimuth of 72 degrees (est) and 06:27:59 11 Jun UTC +/- 3 sec. It
passed just below what i believe was Markab, i don't have the exact time it
did that but Meteor 1-2 r went into shadow at 06:28:14 UTC after passing
Markab. Since my 10x50s have a FOV of 5.5 degrees, i estimate that it was
1.3 degrees below the star.
It's predicted peak this time was Azim 61.9 degrees Elev 6 degrees at
06:27:42 11 Jun UTC.
