The file's maintainer has added what I was calling "UNID A"
to the mccants file as object cat# 90007, desig. 00653A. For
the few who might not yet know, the mccants file includes
almost 1500 objects of highest or widest interest to visual
satellite observers. If you see an UNID LEO, the chances
are very good that it will be in the mccants file, which I
believe is less than one-fifth of the size of files with
data for all of the over 8,000 objects for which data are
available. Here just some of the downloading sites for this
    DOS/Win zipped
    (not compressed)
(not responding at the moment but usually there)
Our weather turned cloudy and rainy beginning Thursday and
may continue so for two or three or four or more nights....
    The sci.astro.satellites.visual-observe newsgroup today on
my provider's server has a few dozen messages. For those
with Web access and for whom it's not on their ISP's news
host, it's available via some Web sites. A while back I
made up a small Web page explaining various ways to access
