Hi folks:
I have been fooled by a newly surfaced ccd defect for the past
three days or nights. The unid reported on 6/17,6/16, 6/15 was actually
a dead CCD pixel that I had not noticed before. This explained the
'move east' theory and why it did not move up the . I was looking at
the Skychart and found that the 'point' did not change in Dec. Tonight I
wack the tripod - the acid test for dead pixel - the real stars wiggles
but the dead pixel stay put confirming my latest fear.
I wish to apologised to all the folks who had spent their valuable
time and energy helping me along.
( I hd sent a separate note had been sent to them).
