FWIW, I've put online NASA Horizons Ephemeris Generator
predictions for MER-B and its second stage Delta, for San
    Antonio, Texas:

    http://wnt.cc.utexas.edu/~ecannon/mer-b_opp1.htm
    http://wnt.cc.utexas.edu/~ecannon/mer-b_opp1_delta.htm
    http://wnt.cc.utexas.edu/~ecannon/mer-b_opp2.htm
    http://wnt.cc.utexas.edu/~ecannon/mer-b_opp2_delta.htm

They include RA and Dec (2000) and apparent altitude and
azimuth. I don't know what the magnitudes might be. The
Delta depletion burn may be fairly bright (?). I had it
omit range/distance to the spacecraft because they're in
fractions of astronomical unit, with many decimal places.
