I too saw one flash low in the west while trying to catch the Envisat and its r/b in a "formation" pass. Of course, for me this was on the previous orbit, at around 4:23 UT (11:23 pm 6/6 locally CDT). Only saw one flash. Was beginning to get very cloudy by then, and I was unable to see the two desired objects, but the flash I saw near Regulus must have been about mag 0 to show up so well with Regulus almost clouded out. Didn't record exact time since observation was basically a bust for me, but it sure sounds like the same deal. It looked like an airliner at first as the flashes were bright, even in the late twilight, equal if not brighter in magnitude compared to Jupiter. However the object was going S -> N, all flights go to or come from the NW and the flashes were much faster than any a/c lights i've seen. I couldn't count the period between flashes as they were too fast. With the direction of travel it looked like an Iridium and sure enough Iridium 920tum #24871 97034C was in the area at the time.
